When you create a Pilates Locale account through the Momence platform or any other CRM system used by us, you may be required to agree to terms and provide personal information to facilitate service delivery. Your consent includes the collection and use of that information in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

  • ‘Personal Information’ means information or an opinion about an identified individual or an individual who is reasonably identifiable, whether true or not and whether recorded in a material form or not, as defined under the Act.
  • ‘Sensitive Information’ means information about an individual’s racial or ethnic origin, political opinions, religious beliefs, health information, sexual orientation, and other personal details defined as sensitive under the Act.

What Personal Information We Collect

We collect personal information necessary for our business functions and activities. This may include, but is not limited to:

  • Financial information (e.g., billing details).

We may disclose your personal information to third-party service providers engaged to support our operations, including our customer relationship management (CRM) platform, currently Momence. Momence is used to facilitate class bookings, account management, and payment processing. Where personal information is shared with Momence, it is subject to the provider’s privacy and data handling policies.

Similarly, we may disclose personal information to direct debit providers for the purpose of processing recurring payments and managing billing arrangements, including failed payments or dishonours.

Direct Debit and Payment Processing

Where you authorise direct debit payments, we collect and store billing and payment information (e.g., credit card or bank account details) to enable the processing of recurring membership fees or class fees. Payment processing is handled securely and may be managed via third-party processors integrated with our CRM platform. We do not store card security codes (CVV) and take steps to ensure that all payment data is transmitted securely.

Overseas Disclosure

We may store and process your personal information using cloud storage providers or services located outside Australia, including:
  • Web traffic analysis tools (e.g., Google Analytics), which may store data across multiple countries.
  • Cloud storage providers with overseas servers.
Where personal information is transferred overseas, we take reasonable steps to ensure that your information is protected in accordance with the Act and the APPs.

In particular, our CRM provider Momence, and related analytics or cloud-based integrations, may process data in the United States or other countries. While we take reasonable steps to ensure compliance with the Australian Privacy Principles, you acknowledge that your personal information may be subject to the laws of jurisdictions outside Australia.

Security of Personal Information

We take reasonable steps to protect your personal information from misuse, interference, loss, unauthorised access, modification, or disclosure. We implement security measures such as encryption, secure access controls, and employee training.

Access to and Correction of Your Personal Information

You have the right to request access to or correction of your personal information held by us. To do so:
